Alobaidi now expresses his experiences through his artwork now on display at the University of Houston-Downtown’s O’Kane Gallery. Despite Alobaidi’s unpleasant experiences as a refugee, he conveys hope and optimism through his work. UH-Downtown is among the first American venues to showcase his work.
